1 Charged After Cape Cod Stabbing Investigation
Police have filed charges against the man they said stabbed a 38-year-old, leaving him with injuries that needed emergency surgery.
HYANNIS, MA — A Massachusetts man faces charges relating to a Cape Cod stabbing earlier this month.
Chad Miller, 53, of Saugus, is charged with assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault with serious bodily injury.
This comes from a stabbing on Main Street in Hyannis on Aug. 16, which left one person with life-threatening injuries that needed emergency surgery.

Members of the Barnstable Police Patrol Force, K-9 Unit and Investigative Services Unit were assisted by members of the Cape & Islands State Police Detective Unit, as well as crime scene units from the Massachusetts State Police and Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office, with the initial investigation.
Over the next several days, follow-up by Barnstable police detectives led to the identification of Miller and his current whereabouts.

On Wednesday, a warrant was issued for Miller and he was later taken into custody at his residence in Saugus.
On Thursday, Miller was arraigned at Barnstable District Court and was ordered held pending a dangerousness hearing on Tuesday.
