1 Seriously Injured In Cape Cod Crash

BARNSTABLE, MA — One person was seriously injured when they hit a tree with their car last week in the Marstons Mills section of Barnstable, officials said.

The Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire Department and Barnstable Police Department responded to the car vs. tree collision near Joe Thompson Rd, around 4:55 p.m. on March 4.

An additional ambulance arrived to the scene after initial reports said CPR was being administered.

Officials found an unconscious female driver. A MedFlight helicopter was initially considered, but deemed necessary.

The woman was taken to Cape Cod Hospital for further evaluation. Her condition is unknown at this time.
