13 Barnstable Organizations Get Mass Cultural Grants
The Mass Cultural Council awarded $1.85 million in Festivals & Projects grants for fiscal year 2025.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Festivals and cultural projects are aspects of life that can make the place you live feel like home, but those projects need funding to make them happen.
Recently, the Mass Cultural Council announced Festivals & Projects grant funding for fiscal year 2025, awarding 740 grants totaling $1.85 million, officials said.
The FY25 grant cycle marked the third year of Festivals & Projects, which first launched in FY23. Officials said interest has steadily grown, with the agency receiving 1,340 applications this grant cycle.

"This rising interest speaks to the resilience and momentum of cultural producers—who continue to deliver programs that are inclusive and deeply meaningful to their communities," officials said.
