State Rep. Demetrius Atsalis Concedes Race to Challenger Brian Mannal
State Senator Dan Wolf runs unopposed.
State Rep. Demetrius J. Atsalis of Barnstable, D., conceded his seat shortly before 9pm Thursday to challenger Brain R. Mannal also of Barnstable to represent the 2nd Barnstable District, according to the Cape Cod Times.
Mannal, an attorney, had 1,777 votes and Atsalis, 1,402, with 10 of the two precincts reporting.
Mannal will run unopposed in the November election.

State Rep. Randy Hunt (R.) of the 5th Barnstable District will run against challenger R. Patrick Ellis (D.) of Sandwich this November.
State Senator Daniel A. Wolf (D.) of Harwich will run unopposed in this November's election.
