Armed Robbery At Cape Cod Grocery Store: Police
The Wellfleet Marketplace was robbed at knifepoint Friday, police said.

WELLFLEET, MA — Wellfleet Marketplace was robbed at knifepoint Friday night, police said. The suspect was still on the loose Saturday and police asked anyone with information to contact authorities.
The robbery happened at about 7:11 p.m. at the grocery store, located on Main Street. Police said the suspect was dressed in black and armed with a knife. He threatened a clerk and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
"The clerk was in the process of closing up for the evening and wasn’t physically harmed in the robbery," police said in a statement. "At this time, we don’t have any video evidence or photos to release."

The suspect was described as a white man dressed in black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, black backpack and black mask.
