Barnstable Dog Park Forum

Plans for Barnstable's new dog park will be released Tuesday; the public is invited.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Barnstable is finally getting its own dog park. The park will be located on Phinney's Lane near Hathaway's Pond. It will be free. Barnstable officials say it will be "first-class."

On Tuesday, November 15, town officials will hold an information meeting at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. Town Engineer Roger Parsons and architect Keith Mackenzie-Betty will be in attendance update the public on the construction timeline and more.

The park will be paid for with a grant from the Cambridge-based Stanton Foundation. The town was approved for the grant after submitting an application.
