Barnstable Fire Lands Firefighter Safety Equipment Grant
The grant, worth more than $12,000, will be used to purchase personal protective equipment for local firefighters.
BARNSTABLE, MA — The Executive Office of Public Safety and Security and the Department of Fire Services have awarded the 2025 round of Firefighter Safety Equipment grants.
In Barnstable, the local department will receive $12,368 in state funds for the Fiscal Year 2025.
"These funds will be used to purchase much needed personal protective equipment for our members," the fire department said.
