Barnstable High School officials said police responded after a suspicious call was received.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Barnstable police on Thursday morning responded to Barnstable High School for a suspicious phone call, according to school officials. Police searched the school and determined there was no threat. Additional officers were stationed at the school the rest of the school day.
The "unidentified phone call" contained "no specific threat to our school," Barnstable High School Principal Patrick Clark said in a statement.
Students remained in the building Thursday and continued with their scheduled after-school activities.
