Barnstable Power Outages Down To 2,000

BARNSTABLE, MA — Power was restored to most of Barnstable Sunday night after Friday's historic nor'easter. As of Sunday at 10 p.m., there were 2,069 still without power in Barnstable, according to Eversource. That figure represents 7 percent of town.

Statewide, more than 80,000 were still without power Sunday night.

Friday's storm whipped up wind gusts approaching 100 mph in parts of the state. At the height of the storm, more than 450,000 were without power statewide.
