Barnstable Public Health Division Now Distributing KI Tablets
Potassium Iodide tablets are available at various places across Barnstable beginning Nov. 20.

Potassium Iodide or KI tablets, which protect a person's thyroid gland from radiation, are available for all Barnstable residents, starting Nov. 20.
The Public Health Division is distributing KI tablets to all residents, including children, at several locations around town.
Participation in the program is voluntary.
Anyone with questions can contact the Public Health Division Office at 508-862-4644.
Below are the locations and times available for distribution.
- Public Health Division, 200 Main Street Hyannis 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Mon – Fri
- Barns Fire, Rte 6A Barnstable 9 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Mon - Fri
- West Barnstable Fire, Rte. 149, West Barns. 9 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. Mon- Sat
- Cotuit Fire Station 8 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mon- Sat
- C-O –MM Headquarters, Route 28 Centerville 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Mon – Fri
- Senior Center, Route 28 Hyannis 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Mon – Fri
