Barnstable Veterans Day 2025: Schedule Of Events
Barnstable will again host a series of events on the Tuesday holiday. Here's what to know.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Barnstable is set host a morning of Veteran's Day activities on the Nov. 11 holiday.
At 9 a.m., brief wreath-laying ceremonies will take place at the John F. Kennedy Memorial and the Korean War Memorial at 480 Ocean St., in Hyannis.
Then, at 9:30 a.m., the annual Barnstable Soldiers’ Veterans’ Day Ceremony will be held on the Hyannis Village Green Bandstand, 367 Main St., in Hyannis.

The event will begin with a welcome, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, Invocation and the Governor’s message. This year’s guest speaker is Air Force Colonel Betty Ludtke (Ret).
The program will conclude with the laying of the wreaths and the Benediction.

Immediately following the ceremony, everyone will be invited to attend the 8th annual Veterans Town Hall in the James H. Crocker, Jr. Hearing Room, Barnstable Town Hall, 2nd Floor, 367 Main St., Hyannis. The event features six 10-minute testimonies of Combat Veterans.

- LCDR James Brian Wallace, Coast Guard
- Berkeley Johnson, U.S. Navy
- Joel Hatch, U.S. Air Force
- Kristin O'Brien, U.S. Air Force
- Rebecca Mann, U.S. Army
