Barnstable, Yarmouth Seeking Block Grant Survey Participants

BARNSTABLE, MA — The Towns of Barnstable and Yarmouth are preparing the 2025-2029 Five-Year Consolidated Plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for the period beginning July 1, 2025, ending June 30, 2030.

The Consolidated Plan will identify community housing and development needs and will present strategies to address those needs, officials said.

“If you are a resident, business owner, or agency that provides housing and community services to low and moderate income residents of the Towns of Barnstable or Yarmouth we want to hear from you. Please help us to prioritize housing, economic development, community service and other needs in the community by completing a short survey. Your feedback is an essential component of the Towns’ planning process,” officials said.

Hard copies of the Needs Assessment Survey are available at the following locations defined below. The results of the Needs Assessment Survey will be included in the Consolidated Plan. The locations are handicap accessible.
