Cape Cod Bank Completes Rebrand, New Chapter After Century In Business

The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod is no more, as the bank has rebranded to Cape & Coast Bank.

HYANNIS, MA — The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod has officially completed a rebrand.

Cape & Coast Bank, formerly The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod, celebrated its new name and look Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting at its Hyannis headquarters. After 104 years in business, officials said they remain "committed to serving Cape Cod and nearby communities with a continued focus on innovation and investment in the local economy."

“Today, we honor the incredible work that has brought us here, to welcome new leadership that will guide the bank into the future and embrace the new brand identity of this amazing institution,” said Lisa Oliver, retiring Cape & Coast Bank Chair, President and CEO.

Erik Porter, the bank's chief financial officer, will serve as the next president and CEO.

“Today we unveil the future of this bank, which reflects not only who we are, but who we aspire to become,” said Porter. “It’s more than a name. It reflects who we are, our deep roots on Cape Cod, our commitment to guiding clients with care and confidence, and our vision for serving our community with excellence.”

As part of honoring Oliver’s retirement, the new Cape & Coast Bank Future Leaders Scholarship was announced. Beginning in 2026, four Cape Cod students will each receive a $2,500 scholarship in recognition of their academic excellence and dedication to community service.

Details on eligibility and the application process will be available in January 2026, officials said.

In addition, to celebrate each year of Oliver’s leadership, Cape & Coast Bank awarded eight $5,000 community impact gifts to local nonprofit organizations that embody her passion for strengthening Cape Cod. They are:
