Cape Cod Baseball League Playoffs Get Underway
Eight teams are vying for the Cape League championship in 2024. Here's what to know.

CAPE COD, MA — The Cape Cod Baseball League is pleased to announce the schedule for the first round of the 2024 playoffs.
The eight-team playoffs will run from Aug. 6 through Aug. 12, with the opening round being a single-elimination game.

Opening round schedule, Tuesday, August. 6
East:

No. 4 Orleans Firebirds (15-25) at No. 1 Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (24-12-4), 4:00 p.m.
No. 3 Harwich Mariners (16-24) at No. 2 Chatham Anglers (20-20), 7:00 p.m.
West:
No. 4 Bourne Braves (21-16-3) at No. 1 Hyannis Harbor Hawks (24-14-2), 6:00 p.m.
No. 3 Wareham Gatemen (22-17-1) at No. 2 Cotuit Kettleers (22-17-1), 4:00 p.m.
The second round and Cape League Championship Series will be best-of-three, starting on Aug. 7 and 10, respectively. Each series will start at the higher seed, with game two at the lower seed. The if-necessary game three will take place at the higher seed.
