COTUIT, MA — A weekend fire has displaced at least seven people, Cape Cod fire officials said.
At 11:06 p.m. on Saturday, the Cotuit Fire Department received a report of a structure fire with people in the building at 60 Content Lane.
The first unit arrived at 11:10 p.m. to find a single-story home "heavily involved" in fire. All residents of the building had made it out of the home safely by the time fire officials arrived, they said.

Multiple other fire stations were called to the scene.
At the end of the firefight, seven residents were displaced and are receiving help from the American Red Cross.

No residents or firefighters were injured, however. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
