Cape Cod High School Threat: Former Student, 21, Arrested

Cape Cod police said Koda Robison-Matthew made a threat over social media against Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School.

YARMOUTH, MA — A 21-year-old former Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School student was arrested this week after police said she issued a social media threat against her former school. Koda Robinson-Matthew, of Sandwich, was charged with making a false threat. Yarmouth police said officers opened an investigation Sunday after receiving information Robinson-Matthew made an online threat to commit violence at the school.

After an investigation, police obtained a warrant for the Robinson-Matthew's arrest Monday and took her into custody.

"The subject indicated the intent to alarm people and see how many students would stay out of school but had no intentions of carrying out the violence," Yarmouth police said in a statement.
