Cape Cod Mom In Custody As Part Of Custodial Kidnapping Case: Cops
A Cape Cod mom was taken into custody after trying to board a flight out of state with her two kids she doesn't have custody over.
BOURNE, MA — A Massachusetts woman is in custody after police said she and her young children, who she doesn't have custody over, were attempting to board a plane at Boston Logan International Airport.
The Bourne Police Department posted to Facebook on Friday evening that they were looking for information about the whereabouts of two children, 4 and 6, and their mother, Vanessa Downer, who were last seen in Bourne on Oct. 23.
"The department has been unable to make contact with Vanessa and is investigating the possibility she has left the state, possibly traveling to Florida," officials said at the time.
