ORLEANS, MA — JPMorgan Chase is celebrating the opening of its first retail branch on Cape Cod located at 9 West Road in Orleans.
The Orleans branch is the first of three branches planned for Cape Cod, with additional locations coming to Falmouth and Hyannis in the next year.
“We’ve long viewed the Cape as a place we wanted to be,” said Patrick Smith, branch manager for Chase in Orleans. “Our team is excited to begin our expansion in this region in Orleans and we look forward to building new relationships and helping our customers during life’s most important moments, like opening their first savings account, buying their first home or planning for retirement.”

Chase’s expansion in Orleans is part of the bank’s growth in Massachusetts that began in 2018 in Dedham. The bank announced in February 2024 its plans to open more than 50 branches across Massachusetts over the next three years.
“We have a fantastic team of bankers who are dedicated to meeting the needs of our customers,” said Smith. “We want to be where our customers live and work which is why we’re excited to be growing our presence here.”

“When Chase enters a community, we bring the resources of a global institution with a focus on local solutions,” said Richa Goyal, market director for Chase on the Cape and southern Massachusetts. “In addition to going above and beyond to serve our customers, we are going to engage and collaborate with our neighbors to create more equitable economic growth here in Orleans.”
