DJs 'Lift People's Moods' With Virtual Party: Barnstable Hero

BARNSTABLE, MA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Danielle DeSimone who nominated her friends Angel Robinson and Jonathan Thompson, of Barnstable, for DJing virtual disco nights to keep people's spirits up during the coronavirus pandemic.

Reason for recognition: They started to hold free disco/old school virtual Friday night
dance parties for the community during the pandemic to help lift peoples mood and give
them something to look forward to doing with everything shutting down around us.
