Drunk Cape Cod Man Crashes Into 4 Cars: Police
Cape Cod police said Francis Caruso caused multiple crashes along Route 28, injuring two people.

YARMOUTH, MA — A drunk Cape Cod man crashed into four vehicles in Yarmouth Wednesday night, injuring two people, according to police. Francis Caruso, 62, of Dennis, was charged with a host of crimes. He allegedly told police he was drinking Sierra Nevada beer before getting behind the wheel of his pickup truck.
The crashes happened along Route 28 and witnesses said Caruso tried to drive away, according to police. The two injured individuals were occupants of vehicles that Caruso allegedly hit. There was no indication their injuries were life-threatening.
Caruso was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, negligent driving and a lane violation.
