"I congratulate Senator Cyr on his reelection," said Lauzon.

"I want to thank my family, friends, and volunteers for supporting our grassroots campaign from day one. We ran on common sense, conservative principles and sought to return balance, accountability and accessibility to the Cape & Islands State Senate seat. I am proud of everything we were able to accomplish over the last eight months with minimal resources and a dedicated work ethic, and I am glad to have met so many amazing people all throughout the district. This race is now over, but I look forward to continuing to be involved and engaged in the community now and into the future."
