Fatal Barnstable Hit-And-Run: Police Hunt For Suspect
Barnstable police asked the public's help finding a woman who allegedly struck and killed a man on Route 28.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Barnstable police are asking the public's help finding a woman who allegedly struck and killed a man on Route 28 Friday night. The victim was identified as a 62-year-old. His identity has not been released.
The suspect is described as white woman in her late twenties with black hair. Police said she was driving a Toyota sedan — possibly a Corolla, Camry or Avalon — colored light brown or gray.
"(The car) has damage to some or all of the following areas: front end, grill, hood, windshield and the roof," Barnstable police said in a statement.

The woman was possibly wearing blue jeans and a light-colored coat and smokes cigarettes, police said.
"The female suspect got out of the vehicle and checked on the victim before getting back in her vehicle and fleeing the scene headed westbound on Route 28," police added.
