Lil Baby, Arctic Monkeys, Van Morrison: MA Events This Weekend

Plus: 25 years of Campfire Festival, the return of King Richard's Faire and James Taylor headline a packed weekend in Massachusetts.

MASSACHUSETTS — It isn't so much a question of what there is to do in the Boston area and beyond, but rather, what should locals do?

Welcome to Patch's latest weekly roundup of highlight-worthy events across the city and surrounding areas. We've compiled them into one, easy-to-follow list, for your weekend planning.

Friday is the opening night of Campfire Festival at Passim, which marks 25 years for the beloved festival in Cambridge. Plus, Soulja Boy, the rap internet perfector, plays Boston, as does James Taylor and a regular on the comedy show "Kill Tony", Hans Kim. Oh yeah, and some guy named Van Morrison will play the second night of two shows at the Boch Center, too.

On Saturday, Barnstable hosts the annual Second Summer Celebration on Cape Cod — bye-bye, tourists! — while Rhode Island native JVKE plays Boston and Alvvays returns to Massachusetts for a show at MASS MoCA. All that plus Lil Baby at TD Garden.

Sunday is highlighted by Arctic Monkeys at TD Garden, but there are also three other shows in case you missed out on tickets.
