Man Shot By Family Member On Cape Cod: Police
A 34-year-old now faces multiple charges related to the shooting.
DENNIS, MA —
On Aug. 13 around 9:05 p.m., a 9-1-1 call came into the Dennis Police Department reporting the "sound of a loud bang followed by a male party crying and limping in the parking lot of the Pier 134 Commons on Rt. 134 in South Dennis," the Dennis Police Department said.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a male party had been shot in the leg and he was being transported to Cape Cod Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation found that the shooting was intentional and that the man was shot by a relative.
On Aug. 14 around 4:45 p.m., Detectives from the Dennis Police Department took Anthony Alan Delman-Edwards, 37, into custody with the assistance of the Harwich Police Department and the Regional Cape & Islands SWAT team.

Delman-Edwards was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, discharging a firearm within 500 ft. of a building, carrying a loaded gun without a license, and a firearms violation with two prior violent or drug crimes.
Delman-Edwards was recently arraigned in Orleans District Court and will be held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on Aug. 19.
