Missing Cape Cod Man Found After Search
The man was taken to an area hospital but was located safely after a multi-agency search.
HARWICH, MA — The Barnstable County Technical Rescue Team was activated during the search for a missing man on Cape Cod Sunday night.
Harwich Fire was notified by the Harwich Police Department of a missing man at 8:05 p.m.
Personnel began searching in the area around the residence while Harwich Police Dispatch Personnel worked with the cellular company to try and track the man's phone, officials said.

As the area around the address was searched by both Harwich Fire personnel, Harwich Police personnel and members of the Technical Rescue Team, updated information was provided that the phone may be located in Dennis near Great Western Road.
Resources were immediately sent to this area, along with resources from the Dennis Fire Department and the Massachusetts State Police Air Wing.

As the search continued, Harwich Police worked with the State Police to try and get more accurate phone location data. With this enhanced information, the focus of the search shifted to Commerce Street off of Theopolos Smith Road.
The Air Wing spotted an individual in the large field located in the area as the Dennis Fire Chief was nearby. Harwich Police UTV units and a Squad from the Tech Rescue Team were in the immediate area, and with guidance from the State Police Helicopter located the individual.
The individual was assessed on scene by the Dennis Fire Department and transported to Cape Cod Hospital.
