Over $160K Raised For Cape Cod Family After Tragic Fatal Fire
Money is being raised through the Greg Hill Foundation for the two surviving members of the family, who lost a mom and daughter in a fire.
DENNIS, MA—A local story recently reached the Greg Hill Foundation, which has raised money for a Dennis patrolman and his young son.
Dennis Police Chief John Brady issued a statement last week confirming that Patrolman John Hubbard's wife, Shannon, and 1-year-old daughter, Margaret, died in a fire at their vacation rental home in Clinton, New York, on Sunday night.
Hubbard and his 3-year-old son, Jack, survived the fire.

Shannon Hubbard was a preschool teacher at Monomoy Regional School District, which also shared a statement about the news.
"We sadly share news of the passing of Shannon (Waldron) Hubbard in a family tragedy. Shannon was a preschool teacher at Chatham Elementary School and previously a teacher at Harwich Elementary, with many connections throughout our district’s families and staff," said Superintendent Scott Carpenter.
