68-Year-Old Man Struck And Killed In Route 6 Crash In Harwich
Massachusetts State Police say a 68-year-old man was struck in the roadway.

HARWICH, MA — A pedestrian crash on Route 6 in Harwich has left one person dead Saturday morning.
Justin Small, 68, of Brewster was walking in the roadway when police say he was struck near the 79 mile marker on Route 6 Eastbound.
Massachusetts State Police say Small was struck by a 22-year-old man driving a 2013 Ford F-150 pickup truck from Willington, Connecticut.

No other vehicle was involved.
Route 6 has reopened after being closed in both directions for a little over a half-hour.

The crash remains under investigation.
Harwich police did not release further information on the crash and asked for all inquiries to be referred to Massachusetts State Police.

No further information on the crash has been released.
Route 6 was temporarily shut down for parts of the morning but has since reopened.
A second crash occurred within 10 minutes of State Troopers telling Harwich police to reopen Route 6, delaying the process. Police say the second crash involved 3 vehicles but released no further information.
