CAPE COD, MA — Summer hotel stays with one local group will get an upgrade in 2024.

Red Jacket Resorts this week announced the first phase of a collection-wide renovation scheduled to be completed by May of this year, ahead of the region’s 2024 summer season.

The company has five properties in the mid-Cape. Three of those — Red Jacket Beach Resort, Riviera Beach Resort and Blue Water Resort — will undergo a collective $40 million property-wide "reinvention."

That process includes nearly 400 newly designed guestrooms, family suites and vacation cottages, plus updated food and beverage spaces, lobbies, meeting rooms and, perhaps most importantly for a summer stay on the Cape, refreshed pool and beachfront amenities.

These projects come a couple years after the Red Jacket Resorts portfolio was acquired by EOS Hospitality in 2021. The EOS regional portfolio consists of 17 properties, featuring over 1,000 keys and more than 20 restaurants and bars.

“Since acquiring Red Jacket Resorts nearly three years ago, we continue to see so much interest in Cape Cape with new direct flights, extended seasons and new inventory across the region,” said Nicholas Farina, Vice President of Operations at EOS Hospitality. “As we look to the 2024 season, we are seeing more demand than ever which is why we are readily investing $40 million into this renovation.”

Each of the three properties undergoing a redesign will get different upgrades.

Red Jacket Beach Resort will see a "complete refresh" to all 163 rooms at the property, and will have new family-friendly suites added to the lineup. Similarly, all 125 rooms at Riviera Beach Resort will get a "full transformation", and guests will be able to book a "Family Suite" that features four queen beds and a dining area, with the ability to sleep up to eight people.

A redesign of the 109 rooms at Blue Water Resort is already underway. For those hoping to bring their dog along, the property offers dog-friendly rooms ideal for two to four guests.

Blue Water Resort will also feature a new restaurant concept at the property, as well as refreshed guest lobbies, meeting spaces and all-new furnishing at Red Jacket Resort pool.
