Search Suspended For Man Off Truro Coast

TRURO, MA — Authorities have suspended the search for a man off the coast of Truro who was last seen swimming near the shore at Ballston Beach, according to the United States Coast Guard.

The USCG was notified of a person in the water around 2:30 p.m. A response boat and a rescue air crew responded to the scene.

A dive team from the Sandwich Fire Department, a Massachusetts State Police helicopter and the Truro Fire Department also assisted in the search.
