Snoop Dogg And Wiz Khalifa, King Krule: MA Weekend Events

Beyoncé comes to Massachusetts early next week, but there are plenty of events to wet your whistle before Queen Bey at Gillette.

MASSACHUSETTS — It isn't so much a question of what there is to do in the Boston area and beyond, but rather, what should locals do?

Welcome to Patch's latest weekly roundup of highlight-worthy events across the city and surrounding areas. We've compiled them into one, easy-to-follow list, for your weekend planning.

To get ahead of this, Beyoncé does indeed play Gillette Stadium early next week, so we've made a special inclusion of that in our list. However, the weekend lineup of concerts and festivals in Massachusetts is loaded.

Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa and Too$hort all play the Xfinity Center this weekend as part of their High School Reunion Tour on Friday. Also on Friday: King Krule plays the House of Blues, Ali Wong kicks off two days at MGM Music Hall and Fitz & The Tantrums start their quick Massachusetts run on Cape Cod.

Saturday brings three festivals or block parties in the Boston area, including the Puerto Rican Festival of Massachusetts.
