Spring Road Work Scheduled On 7 Barnstable Streets
Pavement improvements will result in daytime lane closures through the end of May.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Pavement improvements are scheduled for this spring on seven roads across Barnstable.
Work will include clearing overgrowth along the road sides, removing existing pavement surfaces, improving drainage, installing new sub-base materials, putting in new pavement surfaces and restoring areas disturbed during the work.

Holly Hill Road

Cornwall Court
Forsyth Court
Hyannis:
Maple Avenue
Newton Street
Potter Avenue
Initial activities such as sign posting and construction staking will begin the week of March 21.
Normal work hours will be between 7 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Construction is scheduled to continue through May 27.
Through traffic will be maintained on these roads throughout construction. Any lane closures will be supported with police details to direct traffic. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid construction.
