An Eversource spokesperson in a new release Sunday said the "vast majority" of customers still in the dark will have their power restored by the end of the day Monday.
"We know how challenging it is for our customers to be without power, especially in this frigid weather," said Eversource Vice President Bill Ritchie. "Despite dangerous conditions like strong winds, low visibility and difficult travel that can slow restoration efforts, our crews made great progress restoring power to more than 50,000 customers overnight.
