'Top Gun: Maverick', 'Coco' Highlight Mashpee Commons Movie Nights

MASHPEE, MA — Summers on Cape Cod are priceless, and, in Mashpee, they can be spent catching a movie outdoors.

Mashpee Commons has announced the schedule for its outdoor family-friendly movie series for the summer season.

The free movie nights will be held every Thursday from June 29 to Aug. 24 at dusk on the Village Green at 4 Job’s Fishing Rd., located across from the Mashpee Public Library.

The schedule of films includes:

• June 29 — Top Gun
• July 6 — League of Super Pet
• July 13 — Coco
• July 20 — Thor: Love and Thunder
• July 27 — Karate Kid
• Aug. 3 — Moana
• Aug. 10 — Top Gun: Maverick
• Aug. 17 — Jurassic World
• Aug. 24 — Aquaman

Rain dates will be scheduled for the following Sunday each week.

During the movie nights, The Garden Party, Mashpee Commons’ new outdoor beer garden and entertainment space will also be open on the Village Green. In addition to offering Naukabout Brewing Company’s craft beers, hard seltzers and homemade non-alcoholic root beer, food items will be available from local restaurants and mobile vendors.
