
Gun regulations are certainly a hot topic across the nation, but hunting is, indeed, legal in specific areas of Barnstable. But where? If you're not familiar with the sport, then the answers may surprise you.
According to the town, the specified hunting grounds are as follows:
- Otis Atwood
- West Barnstable Conservation Area
- Crocker Neck (for waterfowl hunting only)
- Bridge Creek (except in the Jenkins Wildlife Sanctuary)
- Sandy Neck
- Hathaways Pond
- Old Jail Lane
- Town property on Navigation Road
