1. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high around 42 in Barnstable, according to the National Weather Service.
2. The Osterville Village Library‘s Winter Classic Film Series will continue Wednesday, Dec. 11. This week's film will be "White Christmas."
3. A cello recital is planned for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cotuit Library.
4. The Barnstable Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a hearing Wednesday night, starting at 7.
5. The Old Kings Highway Historic District Committee will be in session at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday.
