The store is donating a portion of today's sales to a program to help get homeless people off the streets

Whole Foods Hyannis is giving back to those in need.
Today, the grocery store is donating five percent of its sales to the Duffy Health Center, “In From The Streets” program, which aims to help get the homeless off the streets.
The program, which is open to people from across Cape Cod, offers temporary motel subsidies and multi-agency case management to persons experiencing homelessness. It provides clients with “an initial step” towards permanent housing, supportive programs and a return to the community, according to the press release.
