Your Guide: Organic Vegetable Gardening Talk
A closer look at a weekend event in Barnstable.
While the weather is getting colder, fall is actually the perfect time to start planning your 2014 garden.
The Sturgis Library will host Master Gardener Kevin Minnigerode for an organic gardening discussion on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m.
Topics of the free talk will include soil, seeds, seedling sources and site selection. Minnigerode will also cover how to put a garden to bed for the winter.
Minnigerode has been gardening for 10 years and recently complete the Master Gardeners program. He's also a retired USAF and Air National Guard member.
