1. Today in Public Meetings: Public meetings scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, according to the town website, include Historic District Commission at 7:30 p.m., the Bicycle Advisory Committee at 7:30 p.m. and the Wilson Mill Park Planning Committee at 7:30 p.m.Β 

2. Bedford Election Results: After yesterday's special state primary election, we now know that Ed Markey and Gabriel Gomez will face off in the big show on June 25. Approximately 19 percent of registered voters in Bedford turned out to the polls yesterday, and more or less fell in line with voters statewide.
