Coach David Goodall credits the squad’s work ethic and sees this year as a foundation-building season for Bedford and Acton-Boxborough wrestling.
   

• Rye Resident and Volunteer Dies at 93 (ryerecord.com) — Longtime Bedford resident Barbara Hare Ward, who raised her three children here, has died at 93 and will be laid to rest at Shawsheen Cemetery on December 29. Remembered for her generosity, volunteerism, and love of family, she leaves a legacy that connects Bedford to communities from Boston to Rye and California.
