• Spreading Holiday Cheer (thebedfordcitizen.org) — Local veterans’ groups are helping brighten the season for airmen and families at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford through holiday donations to Operation Warm Heart. The nonprofit, run by the base’s First Sergeants Council, steps in with financial assistance and morale support when other resources fall short, especially during the holidays. 
• Opportunity Knocks for Bedford/AB Wrestlers (thebedfordcitizen.org) — Bedford/Acton-Boxborough wrestlers are off to a dominant start, staying undefeated in dual meets and winning the Wayland Holiday Tournament with 11 of 14 wrestlers placing. Led by coach David Goodall’s “every day is an opportunity” mantra, Bedford athletes like Andrew Livshin and Martin Maroyan are knocking off ranked opponents and building a strong foundation for the program’s future.
• OBITUARY: Carole Ann Zampese, 83 (wilmingtonapple.com) — Bedford is mourning longtime resident Carole Ann Zampese, who made the town her home for many years and poured her energy into Bedford Santa, the Bedford Women’s Club, and First Church of Christ Congregational. Remembered for her kindness, sewing talents, and community spirit, she leaves a strong legacy of service, family devotion, and faith across Bedford, Wilmington, Arlington, and beyond.
