Bedford Fire Dept. Handle Fire In Hartwell Woods
The fire department used the brush fire as an example for residents to be mindful of unattended camp fires.

BEDFORD, MA — Bedford fire crews controlled a brush fire in the Hartwell Woods on Wednesday and used the incident as a cautionary tale about campfire safety. The department said all crews were dispatched to handle the fire that spread in the woods and burned for several hours.
The fire was likely an unattended campfire, Bedford officials said.
No word on any injuries.
