Bedford Officials Prepare for Sandy
With the possibility of Hurricane Sandy reaching New England early next week, Bedford officials are preparing for everything the storm may have to offer.

While the latest track of Hurricane Sandy has the storm pushing out west, Bedford officials are taking the steps to prepare for the possibility of the storm reaching New England early next week.Â
Town of Bedford department heads involved in the emergency planning process will meet today to discuss preparations for Hurricane Sandy, according to Officer Marc Saucier of the Bedford Police Department.

According to a Friday press release from BPD, "residents can help prepare themselves by checking batteries and making sure all portable devices are charged."
Town officials are also asking residents to remove leaves and other debris from storm drains when necessary to avoid any flooding.
