Bedford Police Log: Counterfeit Bill Found, Warrant Arrest

July 8:
A man was reported missing from Elm Brook Place, and a search dog was called in from Concord, Police said. He returned home the next day.
A resident reported a black or blue pickup truck squealing its tires in the area of Fletcher Road and Fitchdale Avenue. Police could not find the truck.

Police stopped a car on North Road and found the driver had a warrant. Scott Anderson of 51 Quail Run in Tewksbury was placed under arrest for a warrant from Concord District Court.
A mailbox was vandalized on Old Billerica Road.
A person came to the police station to report receiving a counterfeit $100 at Sovereign Bank.
A caller reported that an ATM at Bank of America was releasing personal checks. The customer put the checks under the door of the bank and police notified Bank of America.
