Bedford Public Schools, Middlesex Community College Closed Tuesday

All Bedford schools will be closed on Oct. 30 due to power outages and damages resulting from Hurricane Sandy.

Bedford schools will be closed Tuesday due to the severe weather resulting from Hurricane Sandy, according to Superintendent Jon Sills.

Closures include Bedford High School, John Glenn Middle School, Lane Elementary School,Davis Elementary School and the integrated Pre-School.

Middlesex Community College has also canceled all day classes and events scheduled for Tuesday.

As of 10:45 p.m. on Oct. 29 2603 Bedford residents, or 43 percent of households in town, are without power, according to NSTAR.
