Billerica Robbery Suspects Crash Into Pole Running From Police
The two suspects are now hospitalized after police say they crashed their car into a telephone pole trying to evade capture Monday.

BILLERICA, MA — Two robbery suspects were sent to the hospital after police say they crashed their car into a telephone pole in Billerica attempting to flee police early Monday morning.
Police responded to a call of a reported robbery at Speedway Gas Station on Boston Road around 4 a.m.
The Billerica Police Department says police found a shattered glass door and saw a car fleeing quickly away when they got to the scene.

Officers immediately followed the car, watching as they crashed into several trash cans, leaving trash strewn across the road.
The car later crashed into a telephone pole, ripping down electrical wires near an apartment complex.

A man and woman were removed from the wreck and taken to a Burlington hospital.
Police have not released any information on their condition.
No additional information was made immediately available.
The crash and robbery remain under investigation.
