1. Veterans Day: Bedford Schools and Town Hall are closed today in observance of Veteran's Day. Be sure to check out our list of deals for Veterans today at local restaurants and businesses. 

2. BPD Hurricane Sandy Drive: In case you missed it, the Bedford Police Department ran a donation drive for victims of Superstorm Sandy on Staten Island last week. Check out our photo gallery of BPD officers and other volunteers working hard to pack up all the donations bedfore driving them down to New York on Friday.

3. Library Closed: The Bedford Free Public Library will be closed Monday in observance of Veteran's Day.

5. Sunny Day, Rainy Night: Monday will be mostly sunny with a high near 67, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a 30 percent chance of rain Monday night with a low of 49.
