Former State Rep. Endorses Zenkin
Former 21st Middlesex District State Rep. Marianne Brenton endorsed candidate Walter Zenkin on Oct. 25.

Marianne Brenton, former State Representative for the 21st Middlesex District, announced on Thursday her endorsement for candidate Walter Zenkin, R-Burlington, in the race for State Rep. in her former legislative district, according to a press release from the Zenkin campaign.
“Walter has done right by the people of Burlington for over a decade," Brenton said in the press release. "He successfully worked with other leaders in the community to promote the local economy to make sure it remained competitive without sacrificing the quality of municipal services during some difficult years."

Brenton said she has confidence in Zenkin's track record, and the attention he has shown throughout his career as a Selectmen to both education and the economy.

"Marianne’s balanced commitment to fiscal prudence with her ardent belief in maintaining quality public education is a legacy I plan to carry with me,” Zenkin said in the press release.
