Middlesex Community College Announces Commencement Speakers
Two student speakers will be joined by the founders of the non-profit Be Like Brit Foundation in speaking at the college's commencement.

Graduation is right around the corner, and Middlesex Community College announced their commencement speakers on Friday, May 3, including two student speakers as well as the speakers to deliver the official commencement address.Β
Edson Novinyo and Rebecca Rose have been announced as the commencement's student speakers, and will address approximately 1,100 students at the commencement ceremonies on May 23 at 10 a.m.Β

Novinyo is a native of Ghana and willΒ graduate with an associate degree in engineering science, according to a press release from MCC.Β
Rose is in the liberal arts and science program at MCC, is "the most sought- after math tutor on the Bedford campus" and plans on continuing her education as an English major at Mount Holyoke, according to the release.Β

The founders ofΒ the non-profit Be Like Brit Foundation,Β Len and Cherylann Gengel, will deliver the college's commencement address.
The foundation wasΒ established in memory of the Gengels' daughter, Britney, who died in the 2010 Haitian earthquake.Β
