Nominate Bedford's Next 'Citizen of the Year'

Nominations are now open.

Bedford, MA - Know somebody spectacular? Nominate them for Bedford's 2016 Citizen of the Year.

As of Monday, nomination are being accepted for the annual honor - a tradition since 1979. The 2016 nominating process is open from now through early August.

Winners of the Citizen of the Year designation get to ride in the Bedford Day Parade, participate in the Annual Tree Lighting each December on the Common, and are honored during a reception at Old Town Hall coupled with the annual Bedford Minutemen Change of Command Ceremony.

The 2015 Citizen of the Year was Peter Grey, founder of the Bedford Community Table/Pantry and a lifelong resident.
