Maura Healey is demanding federal immigration authorities stop using Hanscom Field for rapid deportation flights she says separate Massachusetts residents from their families and legal counsel. Healey’s letter to federal officials criticizes the practice as cruel and a violation of due process, while Massport stresses it has no advance notice of such flights and cannot restrict federal use of the public airport.
